Committee recommends approval and acceptance of the Bureau of Justice Assistance FY25 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Award in the amount of $284,745.00. The grant does not require a cost match. The grant term is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2028. The grant funds will be used to purchase seventeen (17) portable radios for the Rockford Police Department and for Winnebago County to purchase fourteen (14) portable radios.
