Committee recommends approval and acceptance of the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies (IACAA) Department of Human Services (DHS) Employment Barrier Reduction Fund Award in the amount of $172,500.00. The grant does not require a cost match. The grant term is from Signature date through May 31, 2027. The grant will provide funds used to cover expenses related to homelessness prevention, utilities, transportation/gas, uniforms, tools/equipment, and other similarly purposed expenses for eligible recipients.
